Wondering how German Law designed to make it difficult for radical groups (like a resurgent Nazi Party) to organize might be hindering the German public from spontaneous acts of self-defense?

IOW’s is Germany a special case?

one thing Germans do have is plenty of clubs and social organizations.

Plus much of Germany still has active village militias.

its quite a surprise to go into a village pub one weekend afternoon and see it filled up with a bunch of guys in strange local uniforms with their weapons scattered about quaffing steins of beer.
