Nicole Kidman may be a mom of four, but she says she actually always envisioned herself as the matriarch of a much larger brood.
In a new interview with BBC 2s Victoria Derbyshire, the Lion star revealed, I wish Id had more children.
The actress is mom to Isabella, 24, and Connor, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 6, with husband Keith Urban.
I would have liked probably two or three more children, Kidman, 49, says, adding, I love, love children. I love raising children they make me feel good and I love being around and I love the ups and downs, and I love watching them grow and the things they say and teach.
Kidman says that Urban might not share her feelings, though, explaining, Hes kinda maxed out. Hes like, Im done baby, Im done. Lets just focus on what we have.
And the star agrees, noting that I hate to use the word regret because I have no regrets in terms of Im so blessed.
But would I enjoy giving to more young people? Yeah, she says. But theres ways in which I do it now. I mean I have nieces and nephews. Would I consider adopting again? Yes, possibly, everything.
Later addressing the 2016 Presidential election (Aussie Kidman has dual citizenship) the star says, I just say, [Trumps] now elected, and we as a country need to support whoevers the president because thats what the countrys based on.
She notes, though, Im always reticent to start commenting politically, Ive never done it in terms of America or Australia. Im issue based. Im very, very committed to womens issues.
Nashville proper is a leftist bastion. I should know as I’m a lifelong resident.
I know that she has dual-citizenship but she is native-Australian. In my mind, she is a foreigner who came here then tries to start telling us how to live. If she would move back to Australia I would be most happy.
“I think she would of said the same thing after the election of any president. she did not say she supported trump personally she said the election is over trump is elected we need to support him... If only the rest of Hollywood was this sensible.”
I agree with everything you have said. She is correct. I still have a problem with foreigners who come here and start telling us how to live. Please, Mrs. Urban, go back to Australia or keep your mouth shut about this country!
Wow, how refreshing. I just became a big Nicole Kidman fan. Are she and her husband Keith Urban American citizens now?
Then she is as American as Obama, if his stated bio is to be believed.
she also has dual citizenship. and has a right to an opinion... and we have a right to discount the opinion. I don’t like dual citizenship and personally think unless it is a child of parents from two different countries it should not be allowed. the kid should be forced to declare at 18 or 21 that they are a us citizen or not...Nicole Kidman is nothing more then a anchor baby born in Hawaii while her parents were here on temporary visas.
Hah!
I am one of these sneaky foreigners...
She may not be constitutionally qualified to be president, but she was married to Tom Cruisewho was American before he became a Scientologist, which should be enough to confer citizenship. Now she is married to Kieth Urban, who I think is also American. She has at least one anchor baby, and as many as four. And she has lived here for five years or more. I think she is well past being a foreigner.
I am sure you like it when when a foreigner comes here and gets what America is truly about.

It’s time to have fun with grandkids.
Women with children have a natural reason to leave a decent country for subsequent generations.
It’s odd that I cannot find any article that tells when or where Keith Urban was naturalized. Only that he and Nicole Kidman are US citizens and that they voted in the election. I did see an interview from 2001 that quoted him saying that he hoped to become a US citizen when he found a nice American girl to marry.
Not everyone in Hollywood is a commie; e.g., Dean Cain (Superman). And I thought it was real neat when Nicole Kidman played Pamela Smart, too (”To Die For).
Huh, always thought he was an aussie
This country is NOT based on "supporting" the President, no matter who is President. This country is based on the Constitution, which the President swears to uphold.
Didn't stop the CMA's from going all anti-Trump instead of sticking to music.
Like most Freepers/Conservatives, I do not mind when a celebrity has a differing opinion as long as they state it in a civil, respectful, non-condescending manner.
