Nicole Kidman may be a mom of four, but she says she actually always envisioned herself as the matriarch of a much larger brood.
In a new interview with BBC 2s Victoria Derbyshire, the Lion star revealed, I wish Id had more children.
The actress is mom to Isabella, 24, and Connor, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and Sunday Rose, 8, and Faith Margaret, 6, with husband Keith Urban.
I would have liked probably two or three more children, Kidman, 49, says, adding, I love, love children. I love raising children they make me feel good and I love being around and I love the ups and downs, and I love watching them grow and the things they say and teach.
Kidman says that Urban might not share her feelings, though, explaining, Hes kinda maxed out. Hes like, Im done baby, Im done. Lets just focus on what we have.
And the star agrees, noting that I hate to use the word regret because I have no regrets in terms of Im so blessed.
But would I enjoy giving to more young people? Yeah, she says. But theres ways in which I do it now. I mean I have nieces and nephews. Would I consider adopting again? Yes, possibly, everything.
Later addressing the 2016 Presidential election (Aussie Kidman has dual citizenship) the star says, I just say, [Trumps] now elected, and we as a country need to support whoevers the president because thats what the countrys based on.
She notes, though, Im always reticent to start commenting politically, Ive never done it in terms of America or Australia. Im issue based. Im very, very committed to womens issues.
Thank you. she’s smarter than most of the Hollywierd tribe.
Damnit.
I have friends who know her and Keith.
They are going to be disappointed...

Good girl.
And I will note that Trump won married women with children by a huge margin.
Married women with children usually have a better grasp of what is important in the world.
I thought she was Australian.
Thanks for voicing your support of Trump though.
Of course, she is correct. However, the hairs on the back of my neck stand straight up when a foreigner comes here and tries to tell us how things should be.
Marriage was the simplest test for Trump vs. Hillary support. It cut across income and race.
It was not always this way in earlier elections.
It’s nice to hear how level headed she is.
I always admired Kidman, and tell me wife that she reminds me of her.
My wife is duly flattered.
I had no idea of Kidman’s politics and family values until this article. A regret of mine is not going beyond the three children we had, my wife was willing to.
Nice change of pace to hear this from someone in that world.
Beauty and brains!
She’s an American citizen.
Interesting picture. Unlike a lot of older Hollyweird celebs she has chosen to age gracefully. That picture says a lot about her.
I think she would of said the same thing after the election of any president. she did not say she supported trump personally she said the election is over trump is elected we need to support him... If only the rest of Hollywood was this sensible.

Why, are your Friends Liberals?
Whatever her Politics, she is looking at the bigger picture which means she has an open mind, not the typical Liberal demented twisted lack of common decency and common sense.
I admire a pragmatist more than an ideologue
This is a nice surprise. I always liked her.
I’ll bet Keith Urban is somewhat Conservative. He’s Country Western and seems like a nice guy. And he and Nicole are raising their two daughters in Nashville. Not exactly a bastion of Liberalism.
