Cabelas in Allen has shelves full of 22 bulk packs, as does Gander Mountain, not a single round of it is under 8 cents per round and that’s why they have so much of it. The prices haven’t come down from the bubble yet. 22lr can be had by the thousands of rounds but you are going to pay 9 cents or more after taxes per. I have a M4-22 and a 1911 in 22 that both love CCI 40gr minimag and won’t even cycle with America eagle garbage. it’s a shame I miss being able to bumpfire my M4 and mag dump for a few bucks of giggles.
They will have to lower prices to move them, eventually.
