If this wasn't written by a WOMAN with a Ph.D., it would probably be called politically incorrect and slammed by feminists. Heck, it still might be, but I know a man in this situation who has confided a little bit with me but doesn't do anything about it because society almost always seems to make the husband/man the bad guy and views women as incapable of any time of "abuse," or wrong. He forwarded this to me and I thought it might be helpful if any other man is going through this. She even says that men who are in abusive marriages in which the perpetrator is a woman do not have the same support resources as their female counterparts. For what it's worth...

Having a really hot girlfriend will allow one to tolerate that for a while. I had one about 5 years back. Smoking hot. All sweet and lovey dovey... At first... then the claws started sticking in one by one. It was like walking on egg shells. A terrible feeling of doom just to go on a date. BUT. I threw her to the curb.
