Moved to Bainbridge Island 26 years ago. Lived there 4 years and loved it, my first time owning acreage. Had sheep in my meadow and trout in my pond. Rode the Ferries every day back and forth to my job in the finance district in downtown Seattle.

B I was fairly conservative back then. Now ... not so much.

Only place I wish I had held on to but the pond was too much liability to keep it as a rental.

In my dream home in Montana now, extremely conservative Bitterroot area, and can’t imagine living around so many progressive idiots again.

I moved up to Poulsbo in 2005 from Los Angeles. I loved the quiet, cleanliness and views... had a waterfront home with a 180 degree view of Mt. Rainier, the Cascades and even Mt. Baker on a clear day. We didn't go into Seattle that much, but wished we had more restaurants and things out our way.

We had to move back to L.A. several years later when the MIL there got real sick, and after that my wife didn't want to go back to Poulsbo because of all the rainy weather. So, we wound up in FL instead.
