I dated a gal 40 years ago. She found me on Linkedin and we messaged a couple of times. I told my wife about it. “Yeah - a dodged the bullet there. She works for the government helping refugees find housing, get adjusted, etc.”
Seems to be a lot of that going around in this thread as I can identify with that, too. A childhood first crush/girlfriend now lives in San Diego and is totally around the bend with her DU posts and her "safety pin" avatar. I have chosen to take the high road through the entire election cycle except with a few close friends who I knew take it as well as give it. I hope to maintain the connection but it wouldn't cause great mental anguish is they chose to drop me.
