Read the lyrics, and put yourself in a foxhole in WW2

Exactly! If you haven’t seen the movie, with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye, I believe, you should. It’s in one of the opening scenes.

My sister and I would sing and dance to “Sisters”...

” Lord help the mister, who comes between me and my sister.... and Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man!”

Great movie!

The song was written (before the outbreak of the war) for the 1942 movie Holiday Inn, offensive, in part, to some modern sensibilities, but a much better movie than the 1954 re-make White Christmas.

“Holiday Inn,” with Fred Astaire and Bing, was in 1942.

Us too! Every time I hear or sing White Christmas, I think of Bing and the gang trying to raise money for the Colonel Love that movie!
