This is something that should not be happening. Stein admitted there was no evidence of vote fraud. She has no hope of winning. Maybe in WI they will only count her votes and in only the counties contested. This is total bs. They really need to change their election laws so that this kind of chicanery cannot be done.
I agree this should not be happening and the board of elections should have turned her down outright. But I blame the WI State GOP, Walker, Preibus and the Trump Campaign as much as Stein for allowing this to happen.
Last I heard GOP controls WI state government (Governor, Legislature and State Supreme Court). I can’t believe Walker and the state GOP Apparatus cannot of will not put the screws on the state board of elections and demand they kill this recount.
The GOP and Trump campaign still have options including first filing a formal objection with the state board of elections prior to the recount starting. Any candidate for President on the ballot can file an objection to the recount to the commission according to WI Law. The commission must take the objection to the recount under consideration and rule on the merits and grounds of the objection as to whether to stop the recount or go on with it. If that is the case, the GOP/Trump can pursue blocking the recount in court should the board reject their objection!
