I detest Bill Clinton, but he’s no dope. I have to think he’s told HRC the most pressing issue for her is getting Obama to pardon her. Bill would know that the chances of overturning the election are miniscule, while the chances that HRC is vulnerable to be prosecuted eventually are decent if Obama doesn’t pardon her. Given that the Stranger-runs-into-HRC stuff started two days after the election, I have to think that this P.R. stuff is about making her sympathetic in the eyes of the public so that Obama feels pressured to pardon her (as opposed to being linked to any effort to overturn the election).
I don’t believe anyone will really go after her. Trump won’t because it does little to make America great again. Others may but I am not sure.
She’s not going to campaign anymore. That’s over. And she certainly wouldn’t want it to look like she’s responsible for overturning an election. That’s why she’ll let others do the dirty work.
