Got my first .22 rifle when I was SEVEN years old. I can remember that Christmas to this day and that was almost 72 years ago. My brother (now deceased) and I both got a Remington, .22 single shot, a rifle which I use to this day.
My mother and dad both hunted. Being small in stature, mom had a Winchester 25-20 lever action and my dad had a 30-40 Winchester lever action. Wish I still had those guns today.
