Wasn't trying to rub salt - just making an observation.

Sorry if you interpreted it as a slam against your religion. I'd imagine that you and fellow Catholics have had numerous conversations on the same topic - it would be odd if you haven't.

The whole Modernist concept of ecumenical relations has irrevocably harmed the Church, perhaps as gravely as did the Reformation. And there have been many scholarly studies since the VC-II debacle that have come to this inescapable conclusion.
