Hillary committed treason in front of millions of people during the debate. If any of her classified emails were hacked by any foreign power she is also on the hook for treason from that alone. That is one reason why the “Russia did it” gambit with Wikileaks is so foolish. I don’t think Huma had a clearance (if she did, someone should be shot). If she had any classified emails, that would also be a big deal. If she shared any with “friends” in the Middle East, that would be real bad.

Comey initially learned heavily on negligence. I suspect that the new evidence discovered in Huma’s emails show criminal intent on the part of Hillary. It’s probably unambiguous and they needed to get ahead of it, before this evidence leaked out.
Speaking of treason, IIRC, one of the emails showed that Algeria was on the U.S. Terrorist Watch List. Algeria paid money to the Clinton Foundation to be removed from the list. It was removed from the list.
