Did you ever think you’d see Charles Krauthammer and Michael Moore on the same side?

No. But I have to confess that CK often makes valid points that we just don’t like. I hammer Medved a lot about his anti-trump stance. However, I agree with ALL his reasons. I just differ strongly with his conclusions.

I heard him call trump the “strong man” a week ago. I know what he was talking about. It’s what I called Trump in 2015. And it is a reference to the strong man in “The Road To Serfdom”. There is a PDF cartoon version on the internet.

And I DO believe there is a risk that Trump could become the strong man. But the alternative choice is much more “cast in concrete”. So, for me, I’ll take that risk.

I very much buy into one author’s definition of this election:

Electing Trump is playing Russian Roulette.

Electing Hillary is playing Russian Roulette with a Glock.

I choose the former - even if only one chamber is empty.

And why not?

In 1984 Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Walter Mondale, trying to prevent Ronald Reagan from having a 2nd term.

It would just be Krauthammer returning to his roots. To hell with him.
