You HIT the NAIL on the HEAD.
Trump appeared human, he did not “respond in kind” to Hillary’s guttersnipe personal attacks (although everybody knows exactly what he COULD have said about her and Slick), and he was clearly “sandbagged by a coordinated attack from the moderator and Hitlary.
It was clear who was “the mean one” and it wasn’t Trump.
Hitlary may have won the battle last night but lost the war.
Her slick glibness must have had Americans rolling their eyes in disgust. Trump may have stumbled during the double-team, but he was genuine and seemed to genuinely CARE.
The smug, smarmy “Ice Queen” did not.
It was the starkest contrast between the dismissive, arrogant “politics as usual” and it alternative.
I’m thinking that the American People are willing to try somthing different this time. Hitlary confirmed once and for all last night that she has NOTHING - ZERO - new to offer...
And Trump’s theme in his rally speech last night emphasized just that — I have something new and positive to offer, she has nothing but the same old tired approach that hasn’t worked for the last many years.
That’s going to be his theme from now on. And the obvious tag teaming of him by Hillary and Lester Holt is going to backfire against them so big.
