Palin should be in charge of the Department of Energy, and its mission redefined.
NOT to make law (regulations) but to be an intelligence gathering service for the president on how we are doing with energy manufacturing.
Same with every other department - they shoyld be closed down to 1/10th of their size, and just be in charge of reporting how the nation (through individual states) is doing. Coordinating national standards where necessary, and reporting to the president any serious deficiencies.
