A new song was suggested about fifty years ago. They suggested the BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC with new words. My thoughts? Like a lead balloon!
I would suggest..
“You’re a Grand Old Flag” by George M. Cohan
STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER..Who needs words!
“God Bless America” by Irving Berlin.
But it would be criticized as too Christian and too religious.
