Keillor has always had a visceral hatred for all things republican. Keillor is what dumb people, who think they’re smart, assume is funny, even thought they think it’s stupid.
In a “rusty” irony Keillor’s show often features GREAT Roots music, Bluegrass and even Gospel... yet he makes no secret that he condescends and despises the rural/Christian culture that created it (such soulful sounds would have NEVER happened in his Ivory-tower teacher-lounge world).
