I moved out of the city so I wouldn't have to worry about neighbors in close proximity, but I am surprised by your level of due diligence in creating your own situational awareness. Due diligence is everything. I observed an issue with a neighbor years ago, one significant enough that my former neighbor is probably still behind bars, and that made me more aware of how much I need to pay attention. I learn from my mistakes.

I learn from my mistakes. Life is often faster in the City, and usually you don't get many second chances. The monsters are a lot sparser in the rural areas.
I live a short distance outside of the city so I can get the benefits of both worlds.
