Key words: The route to power. The original intent was SERVICE TO the people, not POWER OVER the people. How can we correct that?

We correct it by winning the coming conflict. And as a result, make adjustments to our form of government to prevent future usurpation of power by a few.

One way to do that is by increasing the number of representatives, at least to a number whereby every county/parish in the nation would have at least one, perhaps two.

As for the Senate, its total reason for being was eliminated upon members being selected through election, instead of appointment by states.

Therefore, the Senate should be eliminated as a unnecessary duplication, or return to the process of appointing Senators by state governors.

Perhaps a parliamentary form of government may better suit this age, as our current form of government is wholly unsuited for less than a virtuous people - John Adams - of which, we no longer can claim to be, at least not at present. Though a civil war has a way of purifying a land of its previous wrongs.
