British journalist and television show host Piers Morgan criticised Indias performance at the Rio Olympics on Wednesday, provoking anger in Twitter users from India.
Morgan took to Twitter to call Indias celebration of two Olympic medals exaggerated. He tweeted: Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?

How did Piers’ homeland do? Iran?, Palistan?, Saudi Arabia?
Piers Morgan pisses off 1.2 billion people with one tweet. How stupidly awesome is that?
But then why would anyone outside of Piers’s family care a whit about what he says?
"India does not have a sports culture," explained Boria Majumdar, a leading Indian sports scholar who's authored numerous books on the topic. Indian athletes who have achieved international success are exceptions rather than products of the country's sports system, he said."Unless there is a synergized sports culture you will never win a string of medals. A fundamental overhaul is needed and urgently so."
I get that a lot actually.
India is far less embarrassed of their athletes than the British are of their “journalist”, I’m sure.
But then why would anyone outside of Pierss family care a whit about what he says?
assuming facts not in evidence- Who knows if Piers family cares a whit about what he says
It’s because they don’t eat cheeseburgers.

It will of course be noted that Piers Morgan always wins the Gold Medal in in the Jodrell Banking 500 meter contest.
