I am curious....when did dragons become extinct?
According to Larry Niven in "The Magic Goes Away", not too many thousands of years ago.
Once the magic was used up, dragons and other animals who depended on it died out.
Dragon bones instantly fossilized and looked ancient, they are known to us as dinosaur bones.
