If there is any doubt that this Democrat-controlled Legislature is on a spending rampage, take a look at the legislation below currently blowing through the Assembly and Senate
All Democrat-authored bills
AB 1770 (Asm. Luis Alejo) makes non-citizens who are in the U.S. legally eligible for the California Food Assistance Program. AB 1770 is on suspense.
AB 1809 (Asm. Patty Lopez) eliminates the consideration of an individuals assets as a condition of eligibility for CalWORKS. AB 1809 is currently being held in a committee.
SB 1010 (Sen. Ed Hernández) requires health plans and insurers to report information about prescription drug pricing to the State. Requires Department of Managed Health Care and Department of Insurance DOI to compile a report regarding the overall impact of drug costs on health care pricing.
Consideration for everyone but the CA taxpayer.
All paid for by massive debt and fiat, unbacked currency.
return to real, free-market money - and the left-progressive schemes in California all die immediately.
California balances its operating budget. This is being paid for by the willingness of Silicon Valley and Hollywood people to pay 13% state income taxes and (if not living the same house for 20 years) quite massive property taxes too.
What was that town in CA whose own government was looting the place, paying themselves $3-400K salaries, etc, and no one doing anything about it because they were alll too ignorant?
The whole state of California is becoming like that.
Just another reason why people are fleeing Mexifornia
You are delusional if you think California does anything other than cook the books..the state has been in the hole for decades.
Brea. Central LA.
Brea is in Orange County and was not the city. It was Bell that was looted by their "officials".
