In Steve Bannon, Trump gets a fellow rogue and provocateur (listen to 'em squeal)

The Trump campaign’s relationship with the mainstream media is likely to get worse.

Despite assurances from Donald Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, that they were going to reasses the campaign's blacklist of reporters, the official hiring of Breitbart Chairman Stephen K. Bannon as CEO of the Trump campaign is a sign that the campaign is unlikely to change its combative way with the media.

"If you thought that the relationship with Trump and the media was combative before this, pull any headline Breitbart has ever written about the media and you’ll get an idea of what tone and tenor you can likely expect from a Steve Bannon–led campaign,” said Kurt Bardella, a former spokesperson for Breitbart who ended his relationship with the site earlier this spring.

Case in point: Last week, The Associated Press’ Lisa Lerer wrote a piece trying to debunk reports that Hillary Clinton has health problems, having some sort of involuntary head movements when Lerer was once asking her a question. Breitbart followed up with a tweet focusing on Lerer’s headlines and a zoom-in photo of a grimace Lerer made, writing, "Get you a reporter who can do both."

"Steve Bannon operated as the dictator of Breitbart,” Bardella added. “He is someone who is prone to a lot of tirades and acts as a bully. If anyone thought Corey Lewandowski was challenging that way, wait till someone gets a curse-laden phone call from Steve at any hour."

Bannon will temporarily step down from his role at Breitbart and reportedly will not be paid by the Trump campaign (Bannon is independently wealthy from his work as an investment banker and from his stake in shows such as "Seinfeld").

“Steve is a huge piece of manpower and we know he will perform brilliantly in his new role...

I heard on FOX tonight that Hillary is running ads in NEW YORK. Talk about running scared, she should not have to spend a dime in that state.

There isn’t just one head. Soros is certainly one of them but there is no one boogeyman. What families were wealthy 100-200 years ago and which ones have held onto and continuously built that wealth? Start there.

Like a tailor sizing a suit, Trump is sizing his campaign staff to fit him. The broad shouldered man has certain needs and he has asked these persons of interest to assist him in a good fit. Trump has shown his leadership, desire to win, and an ability to win. I trust his judgement, and that trust has not wavered. The constant dinging of him and his campaign staff have caused a few tears, dents now and then. But it is still believed that Trump will weather the storm because he must. Mr. Trump knows what he must do and how he must proceed. He is learning and a fast student.
Just perhaps, as Trump is learning anew, so, too, are Americans learning more about our politics and political system.

Shapiro has turned into a nasty little beeyotch. Cannot give credit where it’s due to anyone who disagrees with him. He’ll end up dramatically “converting” to progressivism, trying to hawk a book about his emotions.
