It’s much more than just their “announcing depravity”. A great deal of it involves demanding that others celebrate that depravity.
True, and this is somehow bravery and valor. Not self-sacrifice to save lives or anything like that.

The goal is to get everyone to celebrate immorality.
Anyone who does not go along will in time be eradicated.
It will mirror on a larger scale what the NAZI Party did to civilian German Protestants and another Jews during WWII.
