I have a question about this. I’m a registered voter, and when I vote, they look up my signed registration, or a copy of it, and tear it out. This insures that no one, not even myself, can walk in and use my name again. It’s a very simple system, but it seems to preclude the idea of someone roaming around willy-nilly and voting multiple times, and there is no photo-id involved. What am i missing?

This election is going to be different ... if there are New Black Panther folks with their Billy Clubs in front of Polling Places, there will be Black Zip Up Body Bags with $hiteads and Billy Clubs in them.
What are you missing? Apparently you are not familiar with what has been done by Democrats in previous elections. There have been multiple fraudulent registrations using fake names or the names of dead people. There have sometimes been addresses of single family homes that have had hundreds of registered voters associated with them which have not been invalidated even after being discovered. They have also registered people who are not United States citizens. There are other ways the system is rigged as well. Requiring a photo ID makes each of these tactics more difficult and more risky. Catching someone trying to use a fake ID to vote would be an obvious crime.
