I believe it will be a woman. It will be Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee or maybe Gov. Mary Fallin of Oklahoma. I like Mama Grizzly but I think her window of opportunity for national office has passed.
I can only hope and pray for a Marsha Blackburn pick. She would be the perfect pick in my opinion. Unfortunately it looks like Pence.
I hope the conspiracy people that think this is a grand scheme by Trump to trick the media are correct. Which still leaves me a glimmer of hope for Marsha.
The NY Times just ran an article on the Republican Convention, and both Fallin and Blackburn are mentioned as speakers.
The tradition has been that the VP never speaks at the Convention until nominated.
They noted that Sarah Palin isn’t going to be there, which to them seemed somehow strange.
