I don’t like Trudeau and I don’t care for multiculturalism as officially expounded in Canada, but calling Auschwitz the Achilles heel of multiculturalism makes no sense and neither does the excerpt from the opinion piece.
There is no possible point to be made here. Different cultures may or may not co-exist peacefully. Auschwitz was one solution and multiculturalism is a different solution. Perhaps it’s best to conclude that each is wrong in its own way.

but I think the point that the poster is trying to get at, is that if one is only armed with moral relativism, then, really...one has a difficult time condemning anything. including Auschwitz.
I saw a documentary a few years ago...was it the one with Ben STein? I think it was. But he was talking to a young German about the horrors of the past. And the young German when asked if she could condemn that (or some sort of question along those lines), she said she couldn’t pass judgment.
I think this sort of morally crippled is the attitude the poster is getting at. And certainly some of the blame for that insanity lies in the moral relativism idea.
