I remember when public swimming pools were the rage until the kids from the other side of the track jumped in and started peeing in the pool. They usually ended up with the pool all to themselves.
The town nearest me had that happen.
Now, on the last day of the season, right before they drain and clean it, they let dog owners take their pups for a swim.
