Evidently while they were negotiating with him he started mouthing off about having planted IEDs. The Chief of Police conferred with the Mayor and gave the word.

I have heard various amounts of C-4 from just under a pound to 1.75 pounds. That's a lot of boom.

I know there are a lot of people questioning the legality of this use of force, but I have to respect the Chief for saying it was his decision. I think if described correctly in court, this use of force will be deemed legal.
