Talked to buddy over lunch today who talked to one of the DPD detectives that had talked to some of the SWAT team members. He said the reason they had to use the robot to blow him up was because he was armed to the teeth with tons of ammo and was in the hallway and kept taunting the cops to come out in the open so he could kill them.
The guy was a nutcase. Probably thought he would get his 72 virgins so he didn't give a crap if they blew him away or not. Looks like he got his wish.
