What I was trying to say is that what we saw wasn't a "peace officer" action, it was an "enforcement/military action — take a moment to cool off and realize that what you are endorsing is essentially the abolishment of [what remains of] the 5th and 6th amendments. (With the NSA's domestic espionage, the Patriot Act, and the USSC's determination that the requirement for warrants isn't absolute it seems the 4th is gone.)
