Imagine, an INDIAN becoming a Christian apologist.
There is a large conclave of Catholic Indians in the far south of Indian. It's where, traditionally, St. Thomas, the doubter, went to convert.
You will still find Catholic Indians with the name of THOMAS. I worked with several while my husband and I worked and lived in the KSA for ARAMCO.
Bravo for Ravi. GIMME AN "R"!!....:o)
========================================
From Google: The Catholic Church in India is part of the worldwide Catholic Church under the leadership of the Pope and the curia in Rome.
There are over 19.9 million Catholics in India, which represents around 1.55% of the total population and the Catholic church is the largest Christian church within India.
There are 168 dioceses in India organised into 30 provinces. Of these, 131 are Latin Catholic Church, 29 Syro-Malabar Catholic Church and 8 Syro-Malankara Catholic Church dioceses.
Despite the small percentage, India has the second largest Catholic population in Asia after the Philippines, due to India's huge population.
Interesting information. Thanks for posting.
When I met Jesus I realized quickly Ravi Zacharias was my guide.
