Cruz never trashed Mrs. Trump, an unaffiliated Super PAC did.

Oh yes, using a picture procured by Jeff Roe. The ad started in the Cruz campaign; he bears the responsibility for it even if he didn’t know what Roe was doing, because he hired the man.
A good man can still be swayed by pressure and bad advice into doing things that he would not otherwise do. A good man can still make mistakes or be vindictive or be nasty in moments of weakness.
You can still support Mr. Cruz without having to defend everything he does.
Proof of Roe’s involvement?
You didn’t read any more than the first line of my response, did you?
Translation: I have no proof.
I thought Roe owned up to that mess?
Link?
I’ll be happy, just can’t right now, but I assure you 2nd, when I have time later I will find the link.
Did you even read my response?

There. Evidence. And about as strong of evidence as was thrown at Trump and expected to be believed without question.
Now read my first response again. I’m trying to be conciliatory. I’m trying to be kind without being a kiss-ass. And the response is to be snarky and pissy.
Did you even read what I had to say?
Did you?
Prntly was founded in 2014 by Alex Portelli, a former libertarian candidate for Mayor, and now political activist. He has been involved with many aspects of the conservative movement, and has recently endorsed Donald Trump. As the blog section of Prntly expanded, the print side of the company took second stage, but was still providing help to candidates like Ben Carson in New Hampshire through beautiful printing supplies.

Good for them then.
Doesn’t disprove anything they said.
But, you know, you CAN say that Cruz did something wrong without having to denounce him or call him the devil. You can admit that he’s a poor miserable sinner like all of us are.
I mean, what’s the worst that can happen if it turns out that Cruz was the first one who attacked Trump’s wife? He’s knocked off a pedestal that many of his followers seem to have placed him on. Whoopee. So freaking what?
Because the way you’re talking sounds to me like you’re getting the passion out of defending your own self image more than Cruz at all.
