And thus further proof that cops are just as vengeful and vindictive as anybody else. It just goes to show that some cops didn’t care if they had the perp or an innocent bystander. The cops just wanted some payback and any rube would suffice. To hell with their oath to serve and protect.

At this point the police believed multiple individuals were involved, using high powered rifles. I'm an advocate for the 2nd Amendment but walking around IN CAMO with a rifle strapped to your body in CITY STREETS during a BLM protest is just plain STUPID. STUPID STUPID STUPID and you can expect to be questioned if the 'suspected group' of murderers is picking off cops one after another with the sort of rifle you are ALSO carrying.
Now, who's on meds here? It ain't ME. MOST cops are here to serve and protect just like MOST posters here at FR such as myself have common sense.
Cops initially called Hughes a "suspect", and then when the guy was cleared, they said he had only been a "person of interest". Then the cops lied and tried to bully a confession out him.
His lawyer, Michael Campbell, told the station that the Hughes brothers “are believers in their second amendment rights. Mr. Hughes was carrying a gun because he could legally do so.”
Both citizens killed by cops in the week before this were carrying concealed weapons, but had not produced them before they were killed. It seems the cops have their own war on the 2nd amendment.
