You might want to learn more about the guy, and his ideas before writing him off. And you should remember that he is, among other things, a comic writer. So when he writes his expectation is that people reading his material understand the context.

You might start off by just googling "Scott Adams Dilbert".

Reading a few Dilbert comic strips would also help you understand who he is.

Adams is a very smart and successful person.

I didn’t know this guy was the author of the Dilbert comic strips.
I never liked those comics.

If he was serious in saying that neither side is right, then he’s not all that smart.
