Here are the numbers hitting this once homogenous Texas city.

The last time Houston could be considered 'homogeneous' would be, maybe, 1840. Maybe not even then.

I grew up here and it was very culturally homogenous. but YES-technically it was always DIVERSE. My husband id fifth generation German Houstonian. His aunt grew up on Lubbock St. right next to the Houston Police Station.
