Getting ready to go read it now, mate. Sorry you became ill recently but glad you are feeling better.

I could wish the story went on for a bit, but hopefully some day the people at Amazon will get their act together and find a way to allow us Linux users to download the Kindle books and I can read more of your works then.

I saved the first 3 parts as .html to my laptop and read them on the road this weekend, and the 4th part just now. I also downloaded the .pdf of all installments for the kindle/pc.

As always with your writing, this was great ... I am left wanting to know what's next for Mike, just as I feel for Dan Kilmer, Phil Carson, Rayna, et al ...

Thank you so much for this work ... I keep up hope that we can pull ourselves out of the muck the "progressives" regressives have mired us in ... your stories keep that hope alive.

Thank you, Matt,for a stunningly good short story. I would love to see you put some flesh on these bones and make it into a several hundred page novel. Alternatively, maybe you could have 6 or 8 similar stories about different people and create a thoroughly interesting and informative novel along the lines of World War Z.

I also happen to agree with your comments at the Gates of Vienna website, in which you indicated that the push-back against this tide of Islamization will only come from the blue collar elements of our society, not the so-called leaders of the conservative movement. As you said, the latter will either be in deep hiding, or will convert. My money is on the latter, so that they can retain their status in society, which is all that they are interested in.
