No doubt there are thousands of transactions every day that go off without a hitch and both parties are satisfied, but people should be mindful of the horrors violent criminals have inflicted on the unwary.
Use only texting, reject those that refer to "your item"—and want you to use their email in reply. (And not the provided, and secure, C/L address).
