Unfortunately, the mold has been cast.

The next President will not be able to hold off the economic crash that is coming.

Remember, the President should not be able to dictate. There will be little meaningful change in the composition of the House, and/or the Senate.

Assuming the best case situation, we will go into deep recession. The worst case is, well, worse.

Whatever the outcome, my guess is that in 2018 there will be a bigger change in DC based on the anger of the electorate.

Improvement in the economy and the stabilization of this country? Think 2024 or later.

I do not believe a crash is coming. The economy will slow, but not crash. Any recovery will come sooner than expected.
