I’m getting reports from people in the Midwest, too: more homeless people, meth labs and corruption.
Oh,the drug use has been on a steep climb for some time.
The younger generation found out there is more money in drugs than moonshine and started growing pot.
Then crack came along and with a steady local supply the local use went way up.
I didn’t know meth was so popular there but it doesn’t surprise me to hear it.
Where there is money to be made the “entrepreneur” will go.
Kentucky and WV used to be coal states.
With the coal industry being hammered the last 8 to 10 years there are plenty of out of work coal miners needing to replace that black gold paycheck.
That ain’t gonna happen working the grill at Mickey D’s.
I hate to say it but some people see it as simple economic necessity.
They don’t realize its a monster that devours their families, friends and communities.
