An anarchist is simply someone who wants to live without government.
“Causing havoc” is not in the definition. It does not cause havoc to wish for the absence of government. “An-” = without, “archy” = government. Plain English, clear etymology.
Actually, yes it does. Socialism is a form of government; anarchy is the absence of government. The two direct contradict each other.
Being a Socialist may not forbid them calling themselves anarchists, but they are portraying themselves falsely when they do.
Genuine anarchists call for an entirely voluntary society - the exact opposite of what Socialists call for.
