John Galt’s motor.
It's basically an antenna, so miniaturizing it will reduce the amount of RF it's exposed to and consequently how much it can capture. If you miniaturize it and connect enough of them together in series, you'll eventually get the same amount of power as a big one.
I have seen devices like this before and they usually put out maybe enough power to power a LED or two, not an entire strip
However I believe this is an elaborate hoax, the batteries are in the can, that is why they had it covered.
Just my opinion
Nothing, since Rossi is a charlatan. Kevmo got banned though...
How many, a dozen or two dozen?
“Impossible. Harvested energy would have to be in the form of DC. “
Maybe he’s rectifying radio waves.
There have been others before him but for some reason they're not around anymore...
Crap.
Yes, and maybe.
I don’t know if he’s a charlatan, but I’m certain the E-cat, if it works, doesn’t work as well as advertised.
Maybe more. My point is that, when you consider the amount of maintenance that might be required, it’s not very useful.
But the loss driving the rectifier would all but cancel out any measurable output unless you were next door to a 100,000 watt AM radio transmission tower? And that energy diminishes exponentially from it’s source.
He is harvesting radio waves. We have a preponderance of radio wave pollution. Invisible but there. Kinda cool.
No. Not if you plug it into the wall where all the energy is...
Bttt.
5.56mm
Let’s be clear. You can indeed harvest energy (extremely small amounts of energy) from the air. Crystal radios have done this for over 100 years. But what this kid is showing is pure BS.
His LED light strips require power on the order of several watts, and it is impossible to scavenge that amount of energy, or anywhere close to it without a nearfield source, such as a large induction coil that he cleverly does not show in his video, or a 50,000 watt AM broadcast transmitter across the street.
Put his $14 piece of crap in a controlled environment away from whatever flimflam source he is using and it will be clear.
On a positive note, he is in the running to be the next Glenn Beck.
“Free energy? This kids life is in danger.”
No, it’s not his life in danger. It’s his brain because he’s surrounded by dimwits who have him believing this stuff.
Next he can move on to biology and breed a horse that craps out its own oat supply.
