The vast majority of Americans have not been and will not be directly affected by terrorism, but it’s still on their mind. That’s the burden of terrorism. And there's all the money spent, the power we've given the federal government, the TSA nuisances, the invasion of privacy we've allowed, something about Islamic terrorism is reported every other day. Trump's saying that, in general, American society didn't have to dwell on Islamic psychopaths the way it does today.
