Ah hah! That explains it. I was in a restaurant in Waltham a while back and saw 10 or 11 men dressed as women having dinner. They weren’t trying to draw attention to themselves and were well dressed - not flamboyant or theatrical.

I often see men dressed as women in the women’s bathrooms. They don’t look like ‘activists’ and it seems they just want to blend in. They’re definitely not flaunting their dress or male identity.

Years ago I walked into their retail store(now gone) on Moody St,and I was a bit taken aback when all I saw was men in there.

The fancy high heels in VERY large sizes told me all I needed to know,and I left.

It was pretty funny.
