I already called Home Depot and asked them if the story was true. They verified that the story was true.
Maybe *you* should check out your stories before you post.

So you say. But there seems to be plenty of evidence that Krystal voluntarily wore the hat, whether it was given to her by a customer or not. In any case, if she did, she deserves to be fired immediately.

Saw articles last night where she’s begun her victimhood campaign with the usual “I’ve been receiving death threats”.
Because I was in the wholesale hardware distribution business for 35 years. I know a lot about the companies in that industry. I have never worked for Home Depot, I own no stock in Home Depot, but I do know the reputation of the people who started it.
I helped plan an independently owned 100,000 sq. ft. Home Center in Colorado a number of years ago. The day the store opened there were 3 suits from Home Depot that visited the store. I took that as the highest compliment that an independent retailer can have. When the “big boys” consider you a threat, you are doing something right.
That industry (less so with some box stores) has always been operated with solid people. You don’t survive in that industry and knot be based in the real world.

Very well put; assimilation will never work for those reasons. Frankly, they are modern versions of Indians along the frontier destroying things they couldn’t build or comprehend, killing people who had left them centuries behind.
No, they force others to bake the cakes FOR them.
She is the perfect example of a lack of education.
Texas Fossil, The video posted by Bigger Tigger at #36 sure does look like the woman wearing the hat, and she talks about it in depth, and doesn’t appear to be a shill. She sure sounds like she has complete ownership of it and very definite opinions on it.
My take on this is that she is a stupid person who wore the hat into the workplace provided to her by her employer.
If her employer tells her to not wear the hat to work again, and not to represent it as the views of the organization, to me the matter is done, and there is still one stupid, racist, uneducated person working at Home Depot, but if she does her job, then “good on her”.
However, I saw her say yesterday that she intends to wear it to work again. If she does, and has already been given a warning, she should be fired on the spot, handed a cardboard box with all her work belongings, and marched out the front door.
I’ve always liked Home Depot. I have spent a lot of money there. I like Lowes as well. In my experience both stores have very knowledgable workers.
I do miss the old local hardware stores but they find it hard to compete - especially on big ticket items.
