If you live out in the country, seeing city people dump their pets in the middle of nowhere is not a rare sight.

Last summer an emaciated and nearly dead male great dane and who I assume was his pup, finally had to take a chance. They saw us, walked up my driveway and politely knocked on the door. I let them in and fed them, but they couldn’t eat solid food. I finally gave them a bowl of milk each to try to restart their GI tracts. They were so gentle. Really tragic.

I’ve seen it myself and when confronted the low lives give all kind of excuses.

I live in the country. I've 'rescued' five dogs that were abandoned just in the last two years.
All wonderful dogs too.
They all seem to enjoy living here.
