Nope, no indoctrination in our schools. None whatsoever. Just another silly right-wing extremist conspiracy theory.

That prog should be immediately fired. Real American parents of students in his classes should sue the district for all they can, including dismissal of the superintendent. And also petition for a recall of all school board members.

Only pain speaks to progs. Only pain will change them.

If we return to the decentralized governing model of our Constitution, the courts should not be involved in this case at all. The first action of the parents should be to address the interest with the principal. If they do not receive satisfaction their next step is to see the superintendent. If that meeting fails they should seek redress at the school board. If our system worked properly the school board would have the final say. There would be no involvement by courts, the federal government or the state department of education. A matter like this should be handled at the local level.

Likewise if the principal, superintendent, or school board chose to suspend or fire the teacher, the school board should have the final word. No appeals to courts (unless there is a discrimination issue) and no appeal to the state or federal bureaucracy.

If parents are unhappy with the school board, the parents should run candidates to replace the current board. If they can’t find candidates, or get their candidates elected, then the policies of the existing board are retained.

We’ve lost local government control because we as citizens have failed to use it. For the last 70 years we have allowed individuals and groups to short circuit the governing process and look to judges or federal and state bureaucracies to “correct” decisions of local officials. Each time the state and federal bureaucracies, or the courts, are asked to become involved we cede more local control and power to unaccountable institutions.

Now the first reaction of the left and the right is to go to court instead of seeking redress in the legislature or in the ballot box. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison must be ashamed of us.
