Of course, we should be prudent. But what Petraeus is saying goes much further than that, especially taking into consideration his history. When he was a general in Afghanistan he openly got mixed up in the Terry Jones Koran-burning controversy, although a military officer has no jurisdiction over a civilian. Also, the U.S. Army burned Bibles in Afghanistan. Do you see a pattern here?

Petraeus is a politiking blowhard. I don’t doubt that. He wanted to run for elected office until he couldn’t keep his dick dry when that author was fellating his ego with that biography.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I honestly forgot about the Terry Jones incident — you just have to remember, there are people in Afghanistan willing to kill their own sons if they witness one of them burning their holy toilet paper. It’s bad when the “Ebil Amerikkkan” does it, too. I don’t poke the hornet’s nests with sticks when we got our boys and our national interests neighboring a hundred nests nest, though...
