Don’t you see how Trump just totally discredited Steffy? He came right out and said that you are a Clinton friend and worked for them without disclosing it. Now anybody following this exchange knows that whatever this Clinton campaign staffer says is biased from the beginning. I don’t think that he had much credibility to begin with, but whatever little bit there might have been has just been utterly destroyed.
Please remember that Donald Trump is a master of the media. He has manipulated the entire press and media into supporting his campaign so far. No one else has ever done that. Trust that this very smart guy knows exactly what he is doing.
Looks like Stephanopoulos won’t be moderating any debates this cycle. The Cklinton camp won’t take the chance that 30 million younger Americans will find out about their corrupt machine.
I'd say he has gotten the press to cover him, because it clearly is biased against his candidacy, and as far as i see it, is the opposite of support.
He's a celebrity, the programs get good ratings when he is on, so it's a cakewalk for him to get air time. The press claims that other candidates are invited on too, and i do think most of them are incompetent with their public messaging, so they wave off the invitations.

And he's at the front end of his learning curve on this line of work - imagine how good he'll be at it a year from now, assuming his success continues.
This is such a key point. I'd wager that fewer than 1 in 50 Americans have the slightest clue that George Stephanopoulos was a highly placed lieutenant in the Clinton White House. Even without knowing about Steffy's ongoing relationship via the Clinton Foundations, viewers are now going to filter output from this "unbiased journalist" through info they simply didn't have before Trump brought it to light, face to face with Steffy. In two sentences!
Americans take a dim view of deception. You and I know that Stephanopoulos is no more a journalist than whatever actor sits across the "desk" from infomercial fraudster Kevin Trudeau. Now, some of the rest of America knows, too.
